Caregivers are the intervention

Every session teaches you one evidence-based strategy — then coaches you to use it right there in the room. The strategies go home with you, not just your child. Language learning happens all day, not just in the clinic.

Research shows that caregivers who learn specific language strategies during the first three years of their child’s life produce the greatest gains in vocabulary — often more than direct therapy alone (Roberts & Kaiser, 2011). Every strategy in these groups is grounded in peer-reviewed research on early language acquisition. We teach caregivers because that’s where the research points.

These groups are open to any family with a child in the age range. No evaluation, referral, or diagnosis needed to join.

We we cover across 6 weeks

Both Wee Talkers and Little Talkers follow the same weekly themes. Little Talkers applies each strategy one level further, targeting two-word combinations and conversational turns.
