A shared vocabulary that works everywhere

These groups help kids build confidence and feel comfortable in real-life social situations — at birthday parties, around the dinner table, on a new team, and beyond. We use the Social Thinking® We Thinkers! curriculum, a trusted framework used in schools nationwide, and end every session with a brief caregiver debrief so strategies carry over at home.

Research shows that social skills are best learned in small-group settings that mirror real interactions, not in one-on-one environments. Programs that include parent involvement also lead to stronger, more lasting outcomes, which is why our approach is designed to support both kids and families.

These groups are open to any child who struggles socially — no diagnosis required. We also welcome children who use AAC devices or have complex communication needs. Contact us before registering so we can prepare.

The skills that make friendships work — and life feel easier

What’s Everyone Doing?

Reading a group before jumping in — noticing what everyone is doing together and how to join.

Tune In

Showing friends you’re present and interested. There are lots of ways to tune in — eye contact is never required.

Reading the Room

Noticing the vibe of a situation before acting. Understanding what fits the moment.

Show Up

Where your body is sends a message. Showing up means your body is part of what’s happening.

Flexible Brain vs. Stuck Brain

Flexible thinking is a learnable skill, not a personality trait. Every brain has both sides — we practice the flexible one.

The Social Detective (Social Crew)

Observe, think, and make smart guesses about what’s happening — without being told.

Friendship Formula (Social Crew)

Greet → Ask → Listen → Share. A flexible framework for connecting with people, not a script.
