Pre-School Screenings
The Child Inspired will be conducting FREE speech and language screenings for children at Little Passports Playschool, Ivybrook Academy (Huntersville), The Learning Tree, Playwise Preschool Academy, Guidepost Montessori at Lake Norman.
This screening is used to identify children who may need a more comprehensive evaluation. The areas that will be screened include:
Articulation (speech sound production)
Expressive Language (use of language)
Receptive Language (comprehension of language)
Pragmatic Language (social language)
Fluency
If you are interested in having your child’s speech and language screened, please complete the permission form below. A letter outlining the results of your child’s screening will be sent home in a sealed envelope. If further evaluation is recommended, additional resources and options will be offered at that time.
