Coverage & Payment Information

At The Child Inspired, we understand that navigating insurance for speech therapy services can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to help.

We are in-network with Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Medicaid, Alliance Health, AmeriHealth Caritas of North Carolina, Carolina Complete Health, Healthy Blue, Partners, Trillium, United Healthcare Community Plan, Vaya Health and WellCare of North Carolina.

How We Handle Insurance Claims

  1. Our team will verify your benefits and eligibility
  2. Submit claims on your behalf
  3. Once we receive the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) you will receive an invoice in your client portal. Payment is due within 30 days of receiving your invoice.

Cost Estimate & What You Owe

Because each family’s insurance plan is different, we are unable to determine exactly what your portion will be until we receive the first Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurer. Once we have that, we’ll know whether you owe a co-pay, co-insurance, deductible, or other out-of-pocket amount. In the meantime, we have prepared a detailed reimbursement guide that walks you through how to call your insurance provider and ask the right questions for your specific plan. Using that guide, you can get an initial estimate of your family’s responsibility before services begin.
